Our programs
are some of the most unique in the country. We are a homegrown non-profit, not affiliated
with any national program. PCR is not a clinic or a lobbying organization and receives no
government or United Way funding. We are the only organization in the country to offer
education, advocacy, financial assistance, and outreach under one roof. We are located
in Minnesota, but our programs reach people across the globe. Our abortion assistance fund helps
women from across the country. Our education web site for teens
www.birdsandbees.org is
used by youth from as far away as Israel and Germany.
When you contribute your time, energy or financial resources to PCR, your contributions
manifest themselves in real change in the lives of those we help.

By reducing barriers
to comprehensive reproductive health, PCR has been making a
direct impact in people's lives for 42 years. Established in 1967, the mission of PCR is to work to ensure that all people and communities have the power and resources to make sexual and reproductive health decisions with self-determination and dignity.
We promise to defend and advance sexuality, including reproductive choice, as a human right by providing resources and education. The mission and promise of PCR is supported by our programs the Birds and Bees Project,
our Abortion Assistance Fund, Emerge: After-Abortion Support and Community Outreach. Guiding us in our work are our core values.
