Pro-Choice Resources (PCR) is a wide-ranging, grassroots organization located in Minneapolis, Minnesota working to provide a full span of reproductive health services to women and youth; advocacy, access, education and empowerment. The staff and over 200 volunteers reach out to thousands each year in Minnesota and throughout the nation, offering a broad range of reproductive health education, financial assistance, advocacy and direct services, systems change work and outreach.

Interested in interning or working with PCR?

Our programs are some of the most unique in the country. We are a homegrown non-profit, not affiliated with any national program. PCR is not a clinic or a lobbying organization and receives no government or United Way funding. We are the only organization in the country to offer education, advocacy, financial assistance, and outreach under one roof. We are located in Minnesota, but our programs reach people across the globe. Our abortion assistance fund helps women from across the country. Our education web site for teens www.birdsandbees.org is used by youth from as far away as Israel and Germany.

When you contribute your time, energy or financial resources to PCR, your contributions manifest themselves in real change in the lives of those we help. Get Involved!

By reducing barriers to comprehensive reproductive health, PCR has been making a direct impact in people's lives for 42 years. Established in 1967, the mission of PCR is to aid women in realizing their right to make decisions about their bodies by breaking down the barriers to reproductive health that keep women from fully expressing their personal freedom. PCR's vision of a society that is just, that values personal freedom, and one in which women are able to realize their full potential. The mission and vision of PCR is supported by our programs the Birds and Bees Project, the Hersey Abortion Assistance Fund, Emerge: After-Abortion Support and Community Outreach. Guiding us in our work are our core values.
